Overview

Viaduct Scanner ("the App") is an event ticket scanning application built by Digistruct Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). The App is used by event staff to scan and validate tickets at events managed through the Viaduct platform.

Data We Collect

The App collects and processes the following data:

• Account credentials (email and password) for authentication
• Camera data for scanning QR codes and barcodes (processed on-device only)
• Ticket and event data retrieved from the Viaduct platform

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to authenticate you and enable ticket scanning functionality. Camera data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. Ticket data is fetched from and sent to the Viaduct platform to verify and update check-in status.

Data Storage

Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using the operating system's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). No personal data is stored on external servers beyond what is required for your Viaduct account.

Third-Party Services

The App communicates with the Viaduct platform (viaduct.events) to authenticate users and manage ticket data. We do not share your data with any other third parties. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services.

Data Retention

Scan history is stored only in memory during your session and is not persisted. When you log out or close the App, session data is cleared. Your Viaduct account data is retained as part of the Viaduct platform and can be deleted by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by uninstalling the App

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
